MARPOL Annex VI Reg 22A - DCS fields
Each year, ships of 5,000 GT and above must submit to their flag administration an aggregated dataset covering:
- Fuel consumption by fuel type (t).
- Distance travelled (nm).
- Hours underway.
- Technical efficiency (EEDI or EIV as applicable).
The data is verified by the flag administration or a recognised organisation, then aggregated into the IMO Ship Fuel Oil Consumption Database managed by the IMO Secretariat.
