Correct fuel density from the delivery temperature to 15 °C using the ISO 91-1 linear formula. Converts a litre-based bunker volume into the contractual mass.

Formula, assumptions, and limits
α depends on density: for marine residual fuels ≈ 0.640 kg/m³/°C, distillates ≈ 0.700. We use 0.64 across grades as a neutral default per ISO 91-1 Table A.
