Formula, assumptions, and limits
Net saving comes from SFOC_AE > SFOC_ME (two-stroke is more efficient than a four-stroke genset) AND potentially from fuel-Cf gap (HFO vs MGO). FuelEU typically treats PTO as ME fuel to the extent that the ME supplies the electrical load.
