Formula, assumptions, and limits
SOLAS II-2 Reg 32.5.1.1 - enough to refill tank voids as cargo is pumped out, with a 25 % margin. IGS O₂ must remain ≤ 5 % (≤ 8 % for pre-MARPOL vessels) with inert-gas pressure in all cargo tanks > atmospheric.
