Renewable Fuels of Non-Biological Origin eligibility screening. RFNBOs (e-methanol, e-ammonia, green hydrogen) count DOUBLE in the FuelEU Maritime numerator during 2025–2033 if they meet RED II additionality criteria.

FuelEU Maritime refers to these criteria via RED II Article 27; compliance unlocks the 2× multiplier in the compliance balance calculation for 2025–2033.
