Formula, assumptions, and limits

$$\text{Cost/GJ} = \frac{P_\text{bunker} / \text{LCV} + C_f \cdot P_\text{EUA} \cdot f_\text{ETS}}{10^{-3}}$$

Bunker price per MJ of LCV plus the ETS liability per tonne of CO₂ per tonne of fuel. For simplicity this tool omits FuelEU penalty exposure - pair it with the FuelEU penalty calculator for the full stack.
