MARVS Safety Margin (IGC 8.2)
Maximum Allowable Relief Valve Setting check - tank operating pressure must not exceed MARVS.
Margin below MARVS
0.13bar
Status
Healthy margin 0.13 bar
Formula, assumptions, and limits
IGC Ch.8 requires MARVS respected under all expected operations. Running close to MARVS → relief valve vent → cargo loss + environmental risk. BOG compressors + reliquefaction + main-engine gas consumption work to keep margin.
