Formula, assumptions, and limits
Methanol NCV is ~½ VLSFO - tank volume roughly doubles. Green methanol (bio or e-methanol) has low WTW CO₂. Regulatory CF always 1.375 at combustion; LCA factor drops for bio/e-.
