CO₂ vapour density at 15 °C atm = 1.98 kg/m³. Total-flooding design must deliver 85 % of the rated charge within 2 min for machinery spaces (FSS Ch.5 §2.2.1). Rooms must be sealed to maintain concentration for at least 10 min.
