Formula, assumptions, and limits
Diesel engines typically 0.02–0.05 g/kWh N₂O (low). Ammonia-fuelled engines during combustion can see 0.2–1.0 g/kWh if SCR temperature window is missed - multiplied by GWP 273 = 55–275 g CO₂eq/kWh, a significant climate concern.
